V-6 battle tank engine
The V-6 engine, six-cylinder, belongs to the class of four-stroke high-speed diesel engines with liquid cooling and direct fuel injection into the cylinders, naturally aspirated, and is intended for installation in special-purpose vehicles.
Designed for installation on the PT-76 tank and the 2P16 base vehicle.
Modifications of the base V-6 model:
V-6PV is installed on: BTR-50P
V-6PG is installed on: PT-76B, BTR-50PK and BTR-50PU
V-6R, V-6R-1 and V-6M-1 are installed on: ZSU-23-4 (“Shilka”)
V-6M is installed on: 2K12 (“Kub”)

- Warranty ObligationsFor engines that have undergone major overhaul, a warranty period of 350 operating hours or 12 (twelve) months from the date of signing the Acceptance Certificate shall apply — whichever occurs first.
For Category I engines, a warranty period of 500 operating hours or 12 (twelve) months from the date of signing the Acceptance Certificate shall apply — whichever occurs first.
