The military exhibition, which will be held at the International Exhibition Center of Egypt (Cairo), can be visited by more than 30 thousand guests, the organizers of the event expect.
The largest international exhibition of the defense industry and arms EDEX 2021 (Egypt Defense Expo) begins its work on Monday, November 29 in Cairo. An important event of its kind on the African continent, which will be attended by companies from 42 countries, will last until December 2, 2021.
The organizers expect that the exposition will feature the latest developments of more than 400 companies specializing in technologies and equipment for performing combat missions on land, at sea and in air.
According to the Minister of Defense of the Arab Republic Mohammad Ahmed Zaki, the exhibition will open new horizons for cooperation between Egypt and foreign countries, since EDEX "is becoming an effective international platform for demonstrating the latest military systems."
It is important to note that the first EDEX exhibition, held in 2018 under the patronage of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, was attended by 373 military-industrial companies from 41 countries.
