Rheinmetall (Germany) introduced a new main battle tank Panther KF51

Rheinmetall promises that the new tank has become deadlier, has new operational capabilities and next-generation automation. All together allows to reduce the number of crew, which opens the way to unmanned turrets.

One of the features of the Panther KF51 was the 130mm gun. It is noted that the tank concentrated its firepower for long-range strikes in battles with several targets. The Future Gun System, developed by Rheinmetall, allows you to achieve a 50% greater range (than 120 mm).

In addition, optional HERO 120 loitering ammunition expands the Panther's non-line-of-sight strike capabilities. The concern also claims that the combat weight of only 59 tons provides greater mobility.
